Preparing the Site

The site is clear and ready for Partek Constructions to deliver this amazing community asset of the Normanville Surf Life Saving Club & Cafe/Kiosk.

With Council supporting the preferred tenderer in September, this allowed the project team to hand the site to the Old Red Brick Co, the demolition contractor from Tuesday 4 October. From that time, site fencing, site establishment, electrical disconnection and asbestos removal commenced. Ahead of that time, on Friday 30 September, Council received vacant possession of the former Café/ Kiosk tenancy with that lease arrangement now concluded.
