Consultation has concluded

Consultation has closed on Friday 10 June 2016.

This draft Annual Business Plan and Budget aims to address a number of needs that have been highlighted by ratepayers, including for Council to spend more money on our existing assets (especially roads but not only roads); that rates are high and future increases must be kept to a minimum; and that you want to see where your money is spent .

The focus for 2016/17 is on increased asset replacement, planning for the future, making a difference in the community, and achieving a Budget surplus. Our proposed Budget will ensure Council’s financial sustainability in the medium to long term while still achieving the objectives of our Strategic Plan for 2014-2018 Looking to the Horizon.
