The 'Looking to the Horizon: Strategic Plan 2014-2018' plans ahead for the four year term of our new Council. It sets priorities for delivering services to the community and maintaining infrastructure. Each section of the Plan sets goals for short term achievement as well as proposes some project ideas to benefit the community, planned out over the longer term for sensible budget management.
While planning must be done within a local context there are regional and state-wide influences to be considered. The Plan aims to align with higher level strategic plans in a planned and financially conscious manner.
Have we got our priorities right? We are seeking your help to ensure that the Plan provides real guidance in developing our Annual Business Plans over the next four years to sustainably deliver on priorities and realise the ambitions of the community.
