Community Engagement concluded Friday, 17 April 2026
Council invited community feedback on the Draft Community & Public Art Framework 2026-30 to help shape the future direction of community and public art across the district.
Thank you to everyone who shared their ideas, experiences and feedback. Throughout the engagement period, we invited the community to respond to the draft direction and contribute their own ideas – reflecting local identity, creativity and opportunities for public art and partnerships.
We appreciate the thoughtful contributions received here at Your Say Yankalilla, via hard copy survey forms and conversations with project staff. Your input will help ensure the Framework reflects community values, local character and shared priorities.
What happens next?
All feedback is now being collated and analysed. Key themes and insights will be summarised in a Community Engagement Report, which will be provided to the Arts & Cultural Advisory Group to inform further refinement of the Framework before it is presented to Council for endorsement.
The engagement report will be published on Council’s website once available, so the community can see how feedback has helped shape the final Framework.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact Council on (08) 8558 0200 or email participate@yankalilla.sa.gov.au.
